McGeorge’s Rolling Hills is the largest used and new RV dealer in the state of Virginia. McGeorge had great online visibility in their local market, Richmond VA, when originally coming to NetSearch, but wanted to enhance their visibility state wide through organic search and paid search.
McGeorge faced some challenges when trying to bring more foot traffic to their dealership throughout the state. The first was widening the net for page 1 results in larger VA markets hundreds of miles from their location. On top of that they were having difficulties tracking the leads coming into the site and determining their cost of marketing and return on investment.
So, this client needed to increase their visibility throughout the state, bring more business to the dealership location, and in the end increase sales volume.
NetSearch developed a strong strategy through Paid and Organic campaigns. The first with paid was develop multiple geo centric and unique campaigns. Each targeting higher populated cities throughout the state of Virginia. Each campaign was built specifically for that market with specific ad copy that would hone in on ‘Distance isn’t an issue when the dealership has everything a customer could look for.” With Organic, the strategy was to target higher volume geographies through content, a specific onsite and offsite link building strategy, and code in order to enhance ranking visibility.
NetSearch’s strategy the campaigns have already exceeded expectations with the following results:
- Average ranking across 180 different keyword combinations started at 41.7, some markets not in the top 100 search engine results and others starting at the bottom of page 1. Now, 180 different keyword combinations are on average ranking 9.6. This means rankings have improved by 32 months in markets throughout the state of VA.
- Year after year, site traffic increased by 25% on a monthly basis (example: April 22,873 visitors in 2015 vs 29,689 in 2016).
- On average McGeorge RV receives over 600 conversions monthly from SEO & over 150 from PPC. NSD brings McGeorge RV over 750 monthly conversions.
- Average CPL in paid search $50-$60 and in organic.
